Recent Questions Posed to Captain Dan Hanley from the International Media

The following questions were posed to Captain Dan Hanley, the international public spokesperson for the Whistleblowing Airline Employees Association, by mainstream investigative journalists in Pakistan and the Middle East:

Question 1:  Can you tell us a little about your professional background and experience as a pilot and your role as international public spokesperson for the grassroots organization, the Whistleblowing Airline Employees Association International?

Answer:  I have over 35-years combined civilian, military and commercial airline experience with an unblemished medical and professional record before being medically grounded in 2003 on alleged psychological health problems by a process known as a ‘hostile work environment forced psychiatric evaluation’ that forever ended my career as a pilot.  Pilots are required to carry two pieces of paper in their wallets…a federally issued pilot’s license and a federally issued medical certificate.  If you lose either, you are grounded.  The FAA forced relinquishment of my medical certificate.

Question 2:  Why did United Airlines have you undergo a psychiatric evaluation in 2003?

Answer:  After 9/11, like many other airline pilots, I saw large gaping holes and potential threats in the airline security system that didn’t seem to make sense at the time, but do now.  When I employed the legal communications channels afforded before 9/11 to report these concerns, the company removed me from schedule, placed me on sick list without ever having seen an aeromedical physician, and funneled me through the Employee Assistance Program…or EAP…that required that I visit a mental health professional who made the diagnosis.

Question 3:  You met our other whistleblower guest, former Northwest Airlines Captain Field McConnell in late 2006.  How did you come to know one another?

Answer:  During United Airlines post-9/11 bankruptcy, I established a broad email communications system across the airline industry amongst many pilots and Captain McConnell picked up my email address and contacted me via email. At the time of our meeting, Northwest Airlines and the Air Line Pilots Association, the pilots union, were jointly in the process of medically grounding Captain McConnell using the same process used to ground me and I advised him at the time the necessary legal safeguards that he needed to protect himself.

Question 4:  Why was Northwest Airlines attempting to destroy the sterling military and airline career of Captain McConnell?

Answer:  Captain McConnell at the time was attempting to report to both his company and his union his knowledge of illegal aircraft modifications made on certain Boeing commercial jet aircraft associated with 9/11.

Question 5:  Did you assist Captain McConnell in any other way?     

Answer:  Because I was working with others on bankruptcy corruption issues at the time, I put him in touch with Mr. David Hawkins of Vancouver and HawksCafe  who was working with a number of global ‘forensic economists’ who were tracking the dirty money trail associated with 9/11.  Subsequently, we all traded information as it became available.

Question 6:  You stated that you were involved with others concerning United Airlines bankruptcy corruption issues.  Where has that investigation taken you?

Answer:  Although it took four years, the Atlanta office of the Securities and Exchange Commission is currently investigating my 2007 filing of an affidavit and letter.  Unfortunately, after six years, the Department of Justice, including  the FBI refuses to cooperate with me or informants in this case and just last July an agent of the FBI Joint Terrorist Task Force phone contacted me stating that the agency was aware that I was living in Islamabad, Pakistan, married to a Pakistani lady, and accused of making statements against the U.S. government, which is totally untrue.

Question 7:  With regard to your medical grounding, has the Federal Aviation Administration assisted you in any way?

Answer:   Quite to the contrary, like the U.S. Justice Department, both the Department of Transportation and their FAA has done everything in their power to stonewall us.  The Office of Inspector General for the Departments of Justice, Transportation, and Homeland Security just to name a few have done all in their power to marginalize us and denigrate our claims as whistleblowers.

Question 8:  Are your cases unique?

Answer:  Not at all.  It may come as a surprise to many, but a full 98% of all U.S. federal whistleblowers have failed in their attempt for justice.  Of this number, there is a ten-to-one ratio of aviation whistleblowers to all others.  Not one single pilot was permitted to testify before the 9/11 Commission and yet the world was forced to accept the commission’s final report that stated that Osama bin Laden and 19 angry Muslim Arab hijackers were responsible for the disaster that launched the supposed ‘War on Terror’, which for many has become a ‘War of Terror’ launched by the most powerful nations on earth.

Question 9:  Getting back to Captain McConnell and his global Team Abel Danger, what are some of their most glaring discoveries in their investigation?

Answer The Abel Danger Team has a blog at www.abeldanger.net that contains most of their facts and conclusions.  The most startling revelation is that 9/11 aircraft were actually droned to their targets that day with the same drone technology currently being used in Pakistan, Libya and Yemen and that 9/11 was actually an inside job with no Muslims involved in the planning or execution.  For more information, you can also access our blog at www.airline-whistleblower.blogspot.com ...again...

Question 10:  Well…that certainly is a startling revelation.  Does the Abel Danger team have proof to back this assertion?

Proof?  Mounds of it, but there is presently no legal or political forum available to bring their facts or, for that matter, the facts of our Whistleblowing Airline Employees Association information, as well as Pilots for 9/11 Truth, Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, Scientist for 9/11 Truth and countless other grassroots organizations information to public light.  

Question 11:  Does anyone have plans or suggestions for seeking public justice for these alleged crimes against humanity?

Answer:  Well…the United States and the United Nations certainly are not going to revisit these issues…nor will the United Kingdom or Israel any time soon.   The proof lies in the pudding and the facts presented by all these organizations certainly point to the fact that Bin Laden was not responsible for 9/11, so his recent extrajudicial murder in Abbotabad appears to be a process that preventing an innocent man from having his day in court to prove his innocence or complicity.

Since over 30,000 Pakistanis have lost their lives in the War of Terror in their support of the United States and its allies, I would strongly urge the government of Pakistan coordinating the establishment of a commission consisting of other Arab and Muslim states for the purpose of reviewing all available information for the world to judge the perpetrators of 9/11.

There isn’t an airline pilot in the world who could have flown the profiles flown by those 9/11 aircraft that day.  Drone attacks on north Waziristan do it on a daily basis.
